What it does
With cards enabled, the editor shows a right-side Lore matches region (hero + compact matches). You can Hide, expand (Expand lore details), and open the same Lore post drawer used in World Builder (Open in View focuses the constellation). Overlay gear → Card options toggles:

Steps
Step 1 — Turn on World Building / Research Cards
Go to Manage Account (/account) → Preferences / Editor settings. Set World Building / Research Cards to On.
Step 2 — Build lore in World Builder Collect
Open World Builder and add entities whose names appear in your draft so matches have something to bind to.
Step 3 — Write in the manuscript editor
Return to the editor and type. When Storyloft detects matches, the Lore matches overlay appears with relevant cards.
Step 4 — Expand a card for full lore
Click expand (Expand lore details / Expand {title}) to open the detail drawer. Edit if needed, or click Open in View to explore relationships.
Step 5 — Adjust Card options
Open the overlay gear (Card display options). In Card options, enable Show lore tags in manuscript for inline tags, set Auto-hide after 10 seconds, or choose Don’t show again to stop cards. Optionally allow Eddy asks about lore continuity.
Step 6 — Hide temporarily without changing account prefs
Click Hide on the overlay when you want a distraction-free moment. Re-enable via preferences or Card options if you used Don’t show again.
Step 7 — Pair with Eddy and Lore Update
Ask Eddy about continuity when cards raise questions. When you change Collect fields that already appear in prose, rely on Lore Update (if enabled) to propagate renames—Lore Match alone does not rewrite the book.
