Steps
Step 1 — Open the invite from email
Click the invitation link. Wait past Loading invitation….
Step 2 — Confirm the manuscript
Read who invited you and the "Manuscript Title" shown. If you see Invalid Invitation, ask the owner to resend.
Step 3 — Existing users: Accept Invitation
Verify Email and Role. Read the alert about receiving a sign-in link. Click Accept Invitation (Accepting…).
Step 4 — New users: create account on the invite
On Create account & accept invitation, enter First name (required) and optional Last name. Email is prefilled/disabled. Click Accept invitation.
Step 5 — Check email for the sign-in link
Success page Invitation accepted! explains a link was sent (expires in 15 minutes). Check spam if needed.
Step 6 — Sign in and open the manuscript
Click the magic link / complete check-email OTP, then open the book from Books (collaborator badge may show).
Step 7 — Resend if the link didn’t arrive
