Steps
Step 1 — Start New Note
Go to Notes → New Note (sign in if prompted).
Step 2 — Title the note
Click Note Title and name it clearly (source name, chapter idea, interview date).
Step 3 — Write the body
In Begin your note…, draft content. Use Format for headings, lists, and links as needed.
Step 4 — Add Tags
Open Tags, type in Add a tag…, press Enter or click Add. Repeat for more tags; remove with ×.
Step 5 — Add to Binder (optional)
Open Add to Binder and pick a binder. Toast may confirm Note moved to binder successfully.
Step 6 — Save Note
On a brand-new note, click Save Note. On existing notes, keep editing—auto-save confirms with Note saved successfully.
Step 7 — Return to the library
Use the back control to /notes and find the note via search, tags, or binders.

- Tags are free text—pick a consistent vocabulary (e.g.
research,chapter-3). - Eddy Save to Notes can create library notes from AI replies.
- Manuscript chapter assignment is not done here—use editor Notes → Assign.
