The Storyloft Notes library is your research home outside the manuscript canvas—capture ideas, outlines, and source notes, then find them later with search, scope filters, tags, and binders. Authors searching for Storyloft Notes or New Note start at /notes. Manuscript-scoped editor notes also appear here under Manuscripts only, while full binder organization applies to library notes.

Steps
Step 1 — Open Notes
Click Notes in the app sidebar.
Step 2 — Search
Type keywords in Search notes… to narrow the list.
Step 3 — Set Scope
Open Scope and choose All, Library only, or Manuscripts only depending on whether you want global research, binder notes, or editor manuscript notes.
Step 4 — Sort and filter tags
Set Sort by: Last Opened or Title. Optionally pick a tag under All Tags.
Step 5 — Use Binders (library notes)
Click All Notes or a binder name on the left to focus that collection.
Step 6 — Open or create
Click a library card to open /notes/{id}, or a manuscript card to jump to the editor. Click New Note to create.
Step 7 — Delete carefully
Use the delete control on a card and confirm the browser/dialog prompt if you no longer need a note.
Tips
- Your Binder Is Empty means create your first library note with New Note.
- Manuscript notes are created in the editor Notes panel—not only on
/notes. - Scope Manuscripts only + empty → Go to manuscripts CTA.
- Combine binders + tags for large research libraries.

Where is the Storyloft Notes library?
Sidebar Notes → /notes.
What’s the difference between Library and Manuscripts scope?
Library notes live in binders and open in the note editor. Manuscript notes are created in a book’s editor Notes panel and open that manuscript.
How do I create a note from the library?
Click New Note.
Why don’t I see any notes?
Check Scope/search/binder filters, or create one. Empty copy differs for library vs manuscripts vs search.
Can I search across everything?
Use Scope: All (library + manuscripts) plus Search notes….
How do manuscript notes get onto this page?
Create them in the editor Notes → Manuscript tab; they surface here under manuscript scope.
