Steps
Step 1 — Open Data Visualization
Click Data Visualization in the left sidebar.
Step 2 — Choose a book
Select a manuscript under Choose a book so datasets attach to that project.
Step 3 — Start New Visualization
Click New Visualization (header or empty state). You’ll enter the wizard.
Step 4 — Complete Choose Book in the wizard
Confirm Select a Book / Next if prompted—datasets and visuals store with that manuscript.
Step 5 — Upload, edit, pick a goal, generate
Follow Upload CSV → Edit Table → Select Goal → Generate Visualization. Details are in the upload and generate articles.
Step 6 — Reopen later from the hub
Return to the datasets page, select the book, and click Open in wizard on a card to continue editing.
Step 7 — Find finished images
Open Illustrations → Gallery (Charts / Infographics tabs) or insert via editor Manage Images.
Tips
- Pick the book before uploading so files don’t land on the wrong manuscript.
- Empty hub copy: Create a visualization / upload a CSV to begin.
- Use Start over in the wizard if you need a clean run.
- Keep Image Credits stocked before Generate steps.
