Upload and Manage CSV Datasets in Storyloft

What it does

Steps

Step 1 — Choose a book on the hub

Open Data Visualization, select Choose a book.

Step 2 — Start New Visualization

Click New Visualization and confirm the book on Step 1 — Choose BookNext.

Step 3 — Upload CSV

On Upload CSV, drop or browse a .csv under 5 MB. Click Continue and wait for Dataset uploaded.

Step 4 — Edit the table (optional)

On Edit table, fix cells, Save edits, then Commit & continue when ready for goals.

Step 5 — Return to the hub to manage

Open sidebar Data Visualization again. Find the dataset card for your book.

Step 6 — Rename or Export CSV

Use Rename (New nameSave) or Export CSV for a sanitized download.

Step 7 — Delete only when sure

Click delete → confirm Delete dataset?Delete. This cannot be undone.

Tips

  • CSV must include a header and at least one row.
  • Oversized files or wrong types toast Please choose a .csv file under 5 MB.
  • Reopen edits anytime with Open in wizard.
  • Security/parse failures show server messages—simplify the CSV and retry.
