Steps
Step 1 — Open Themes
Open your manuscript → Book Controls → Themes.
Step 2 — Browse theme cards
Scroll available themes. Read each name and preview how Chapter and the sample paragraph look.
Step 3 — Apply a theme
Click the theme you want. The canvas updates to that typography system.
Step 4 — Check headings in Format
Switch to Format and confirm Chapter / Section / etc. heading types still match your outline. Decorative elements and chapter counters remain Format controls.
Step 5 — Spot-check in Page view
Open toolbar View → Page to see how the theme reads at print sizes.
Step 6 — Export with theme fonts when relevant
Ebook export notes that theme fonts may be embedded—apply your final theme before Export Ebook.
Step 7 — Change themes anytime
Return to Themes and select another card if you want a different literary look.
