How do I put books in a series in Storyloft?

In Storyloft, you can create a series to organize related books such as trilogies, sequels, or companion novels. This feature helps you manage multiple interconnected books under one series name, making it easier to keep track of your larger story arcs and collections. Series are created and managed from the Books page card menu, not from inside the book editor. Every plan—Free, Pro, and Unlimited—includes series functionality, and you can add any book from your library to a series as long as the book is on an active plan.

TL;DR: To put books in a series in Storyloft, go to the Books page, open the three-dot menu at the top right of the book card you want to include, and select Create Series. Name your series and click create. The book is automatically added to the new series.

  • Create a series from the Books page
  • Add your first book to the series

FAQ

Can I add a book to a series after I create the series?

Yes. Open the three-dot menu on any book card and choose the option to add it to an existing series. The same menu that lets you create a series also lets you add books to series you’ve already made.

Do I need a specific plan to use series?

No. Series are available on Free, Pro, and Unlimited plans. As long as you have at least one book on an active plan, you can create and manage series.

Can I remove a book from a series?

Yes. Open the book card menu for a book that’s already in a series, and you’ll see an option to manage or remove it from the series. This doesn’t delete the book—it just removes it from the series grouping.

Where do I see which books are in a series?

The series name appears on each book card on the Books page. All books that belong to the same series will display the series name, so you can see at a glance which books are grouped together.
